Position Overview

The Human Resources team, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Sr. HRIS Analyst! Guided by the HRIS Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience implementing, providing operational support for time-keeping systems, will be involved with owning the organization's global and regional technologies for core HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Performance Management, Learning, HR Shared Services, Payroll and Employee Relations. The incumbent will implement new features and functionality to meet the needs of global business teams. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build valuable knowledge, gain cross-functional experience, and own new applications, features and functionality while supporting the needs of business teams globally.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Implement new solutions, features, and project execution from start to finish within the Global HR Systems space at Novelis. This includes planning the feature and/or project, gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements, testing and detailing any system bugs, conducting appropriate UAT sessions with business partners, and being responsible for the deployment and Hypercare plan.

  • Maintain and optimize existing solutions, provide production support and troubleshooting for Global HR systems.

  • Act as a business relationship manager, by being the liaison between global and regional business members; making sure to understand business priorities and needs using the established governance model. You will work closely with your business Center of Excellence (COE) Lead, HR Services teams, HR Process Excellence team, and HRIS teams.

  • Partner closely across various IT functional teams (ranging from the HRIT architect, security team, QA team, software vendors, and our parent company, Aditya Birla Group, resources) to communicate business needs, and collaborate on project execution.

  • Provide both formal and informal project management responsibilities for the projects you are leading. Monitoring and handling your projects for risks, identify migration plans, project issues, etc.

  • Bring together and document requirements from business partners within your COE, analyze process and technical issues, and craft new or improving existing solutions.

  • Develop test strategies for your project complete test scripts and/or collaborate with the QA testing team for development and execution.

  • Basic understanding of security access rights and integrations/interfaces

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years of HRIS experience

  • Confirmed understanding of HR systems and processes with a background implementing HR solutions

  • Committed to understanding customer needs and exceeding their expectations. Builds synergetic relationships across business units to accomplish business objectives.

  • Demonstrates an ability to work both independently and cross-functionally.

  • Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner. Acts as a role model in demonstrating the customer service standards of the organization.

  • Maintains personnel confidentiality at all times

  • Ability to collaborate efficiently, apply interpersonal and organizational skills to efficiently prioritize multiple, shifting priorities with attention to detail and focus.

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Shown partnership and collaboration in cross team settings

  • Quality system and process documentation skills

  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years Timekeeping experience: implementation & support (UKG Dimensions & UKG Pro a plus)

  • Experience working in a global organization

  • PeopleSoft experience
