The Global Finance HR Team is looking for an exceptional leader to drive the development and implementation of the HR Strategy in support of Amazon's fast growing businesses.

In this position you will partner with the various senior leaders (VPs and Directors) along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the HR strategies that foster organizational and people effectiveness. The individual in this role must understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda that supports the business. The HR Leader will serve as a liaison between the business and the central corporate teams to assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development.

We are looking for Human Resource professionals who have the ability to diagnose problems, and identify and drive appropriate solutions. Additionally, you will need to be able to roll up your sleeves and dive deep into daily operational HR needs.

The role will require the ability to establish HR priorities and operating mechanisms to drive change. The individual in this role must be able to interface effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization. You will need excellent communication skills, coaching skills, strategic thinking and planning/project management skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. This is a People Manager and reports to the VP of Global HRBP. The ideal candidate for this role has successfully supported software engineering and product management teams at large and small organizations. As a Sr. Director, HR Business Partner you will work closely with technology managers across our global offices developing and executing HR strategies to drive innovation, growth and organizational effectiveness. The ability to identify, develop and address the people implications of our technical strategies is a must. Responsibilities Develop HR strategy, solutions and strategic workforce plans that align to the business and functional strategy and objectives. Facilitate organizational diagnosis and metrics to drive organizational effectiveness through talent and organizational capabilities and culture. Act as a catalyst for change; guides and directs organizational design, development and change management solutions. Develop robust talent management plans and drives culture change initiatives to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent in critical roles Coach leaders at various levels on complex leadership and HR issues including talent development, engagement, and elevating performance and issues which could have the potential to create a competitive advantage for the business.
