Overview:

Ready to lead HR technology? Join us as the Sr. Manager, HRIS Services and oversee the management and development of our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to drive operational excellence.

The Senior Manager of HR Technology will play a key role in setting and leading the strategic vision and roadmap for the HR systems landscape At Baldor. The Senior Manager of HR Technology will partner across HR and IT to ensure HR systems support, growth, and scalability while enhancing the employee/manager experience. They will do this through leadership of a local team as well as through the various HR COE initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving the data analytics needed for HR and to report back on organizational health (such as turnover, time to fill, cost of hire, exit interview analysis, customer experience scorecards, employee engagement index, diversity, etc).

  • Help build workforce planning tool leveraging insights to properly plan for talent pipeline.

  • Developing and implementing technology plans that align with organizational goals.

  • Managing and overseeing technical projects, including the selection and deployment of technology solutions to meet organizational needs such as performance management, training & development platform.

  • Overseeing the analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.

  • Leading a team of technology professionals, providing coaching and guidance on technical issues as needed including:

  • System Management: Manage and optimize HRIS systems and data solutions to meet organizational goals and enhance data integrity.

  • Project Leadership: Plan, execute, and drive the implementation of new features and functionality within HRIS systems.

  • User Support: Provide timely support and training for end users, ensuring effective utilization of HRIS tools.

  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate the HRIS team to meet service delivery requirements and project goals.

  • Data Analysis: Develop reporting and analysis tools to support HR data management and regulatory compliance.

  • Responsible for driving, championing, and executing initiatives which support the transformation of the HR landscape. This role will understand current business processes, future state goals, and system functionality to identify solutions and execute change.

  • Manage the portfolio of HR system applications and projects: lead and synchronize projects and their interdependencies; define and coordinate resource capacity and availability; facilitate transitions from projects to operations; identify barriers to change and drive organizational change.

  • Take operational responsibilities for HR tickets solving, HRIS training curricula creation and roll out.

  • Handle and raise project risks and issues as appropriate, establish success metrics for projects and ensure project performance is tracked and measured.

  • Periodically review support team and structure to help demand management and capacity planning, utilizing metrics and services delivery standards.

  • Provide thought leadership regarding HR technology solutions and strategies for new programs, projects and enhancements to existing solutions.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years HR Technology experience; leading enterprise projects, system maintenance, data/analytics

  • Ability to align HR processes, system functionality, and data governance with departmental/regional vision and goals, specifically as it relates to designing for the employee/manager

  • Familiar with the end-to end employee life cycle process including Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee master data, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Integration, and Reporting.

  • Strong project management and communication skills, including strong agile and design thinking expertise.

  • Capability to balance competing priorities and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment and sometimes under conditions of ambiguity.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across functional and technical partners

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 6-years in HRIS systems and platforms

  • Project and Change Management experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Technology Skills: Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.

  • HRIS systems experience
  • UKG, PeopleSoft, or Workday etc.
  • Office suite software
  • Teams, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Google Suite, Microsoft List, Microsoft Planner
  • Video conferencing software
  • Microsoft Teams

Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work under a hybrid schedule

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
