Toast is continuously growing and changing! Our People Operations and Systems team supports and enhances the employee journey by evolving our processes and systems as we scale. This role will support Toast's use of Workday, by building out the necessary reports and integrations to keep up with our business growth. This person will be our Workday data expert, acting as a consultant to the organization -- understanding where data exists, what limitations there may be, and how to transform it into actionable information.

About this roll*:

  • Create and maintain our model for Workday reporting. Develop a strategy for multi-year reporting from historical systems.

  • Develop the necessary processes to ensure data integrity through auditing and monitoring, partnering with teams to research and correct discrepancies

  • Collaborate with internal partners to design and produce customized dashboards, reports and ad-hoc analyses

  • Create and maintain integrations from Workday to internal Toast systems and external vendors using Workday tools such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Cloud Connect, Core Connector, Workday Studio

  • Drive major Workday releases, including comprehensive plan for adoption of new features and regression testing for impacts to existing reports and integrations.

Do you have the right ingredients*?

  • 5-7 years experience working with HR data, with a broad understanding of People functions and data; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Workday analyst or administrator responsible for creating reports and integrations. Ideal candidate will have completed Workday Training (Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Integration System Fundamentals) or equivalent experience creating various reports and integrations in Workday (advanced/matrix/composite reports, dashboards, inbound/outbound EIBs, Cloud Connect, Core Connectors, XSLT)

  • Enthusiasm for learning new technology and a love of process improvement and data integrity; interest in driving administrative efficiency with accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced knowledge of Excel preferred) and Google Suite

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and outstanding organizational skills

  • Experience interpreting data and presenting information and findings.

  • Ability to multitask under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • A positive attitude, can-do mindset, and a desire to constantly improve and iterate

  • Flexible and able to respond to rapidly changing business needs

The Residency Management Suite (RMS) Project Specialist/Manager will be responsible for managing the Residency Management Suite (currently New Innovations), which includes coordinating the collection and management of data, as well as training, maintenance and day-to-day customer service for users involved in residency and fellowship programs.. The Project Specialist/Manager will supervise one staff to support these activities (alongside their other responsibilities). Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The following technical skills will be required: * Manage all aspects of the Residency Management Suite, with support of external vendor and Partners Information Systems. * Act as liaison with the vendor for product issues, upgrades, enhancements, and contracting. * Act as backup website administrator for GME office. The following duties reflect the customer service and training aspects of the position: * Monitor, manage, and triage issues related to the residency management suite, including related to program, resident/fellow and faculty accounts in RMS. * Work with end-users in identifying support issues raised, developing solutions and coordinating with other resources required to resolve the user support issue. * Provide quality customer service and user support as well as supervise other GME staff who are assisting in that effort. * Manage on-going communication, feedback and follow-through with customers/peers. * Develop and implement training and development programs and activities for frontline staff and managers. * Develop as necessary standardized training materials for RMS for each category of user. * Develop presentations that support the work of role. * Identify and overcome barriers to implementing improvement ideas. * Work collaboratively with other departments. The following planning skills will be required for the Residency Management Suite: * Facilitate the development of project timelines, deliverables, milestones, and priorities, as well establishing project and system documentation. * Develop and maintain project documentation including, but not limited to: Project Plans, Meeting Agendas, Meeting Minutes, Decision Documents. * Lead project communication process to stakeholders and oversight community, when appropriate. * Bachelor's degree or minimum of five years administrative experience required. Master's degree preferred. * Experience in information management particularly in design and maintenance of relational databases. * Familiarity with ACGME requirements and graduate medical education preferable. * Strong proactive customer service skills. * Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail. * Experience in development of project plans and timelines. * Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving skills. * Ability to cooperatively and effectively work with people from all organizational levels and build consensus through negotiation and diplomacy. * Ability to work within a complex multi-site environment. * Strong PC skills / Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
