Cleaver Brooks Sales and Service is looking for a Sr. HR Generalist to join our team in Dallas, TX. The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for ongoing execution and delivery of Human Resources functions at an operating company level with multiple locations. This includes employee relations, hiring, onboarding, talent management, performance management, terminations, reporting/analytics, benefits, leave administration, EEO/ AAP, COBRA, training, orientation, and other tasks generally performed by Human Resources at this level.

Job Location: Dallas, TX
Essential functions:
Administer functions, including recruitment, classification review, compensation studies, employment analysis, leave and benefits administration
Collect and analyze data - tracks trends and developments in assigned functional areas, conducts studies, performs research and prepares reports related to HR responsibilities
Research, coach, and counsel managers, supervisors, and employees on employee relations matters
Manage and respond to unemployment claims and various regulatory/legal requirements
Provide management/supervisor guidance on performance improvement and disciplinary actions
Interpret, develop, and administer policies and procedures
Responsible for new hire orientation and benefits enrollment support
Liaison/Partner with payroll representatives to assure timely and compliant information
Special projects that may include: developing training programs, safety program administration, wellness programs, etc.
Provide general assistance and support to all co-workers
On-boarding of new co-workers
All other duties as assigned
Other Duties:
Internal Contacts: (70-80 %) Contacts required as a regular part of daily duties
External Contacts: (20-30%) Contacts required as a regular part of daily duties
Basic Requirements:
Education:
Experience (Required):
4 - 6 years experience directly in Human Resource functions.
2 - 4 years experience in partnering with various department leaders to discuss challenges facing them and utilizing that experience to apply HR tools to arrive at solutions to those challenges
Proven ability of multi-tasking in results oriented environment
2 - 3 years experience of learning and utilizing HR technologies
