Graphic Communications Sales Executive -- Commercial and Industrial Printing

POSITION PROFILE

The Graphic Communications Sales Executive (GCSE) is directly responsible for selling the full portfolio of Ricoh products and software solutions to Graphic Communications / Commercial Print accounts, with heavy focus to the Ricoh Production solutions portfolio, which includes: Ricoh's full suite of production color and monochrome sheet-fed and continuous feed hardware, software and services solutions. The GCSE's responsibility is to sell into an assigned account base consisting of Print and Marketing Service providers including transaction printing firms, direct mail and fulfillment centers, commercial printing firms as well as the sign and graphics market. This role promotes a directed sales and marketing strategy calling into the territory assignment in the US allowing Ricoh to bring value in this unique and growing vertical and the graphic arts wide-format solutions space. They act as the Ricoh Production solutions and graphic communications vertical sales expert, as well as the account manager, with expectations to engage key subject matter experts for solution based team selling, including the Production Solution Engineers and Sign and Graphics Specialists -- for both Technical and Graphic Arts Wide Format expertise.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a self-motivated, sales professional who can successfully work remotely and fulfill the following:

  • Achieve assigned sales quota metrics.

  • Responsible for spearheading RICOH's penetration and expansion in the print and marketing service providers, transaction printing firms, direct mail and fulfillment centers, commercial printing firms, as well as the sign and graphics market.

  • Manage and develop strategies to penetrate ZBA (zero based account) opportunities as well as retain and grow existing client base.

  • Independently drive customer engagements, meetings, and develop opportunities using subject matter experts and other skilled assets to position, propose and close business.

  • Creates value propositions through TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), ROI (Return on Investment) and value based measures.

  • Works collaboratively with matrix teams to build trust and confidence with the client.

  • Works closely with Ricoh's Lead Development organization to advance leads within the assignment.

  • Maintains records of all account activity within Ricoh provided sales database and CRM tool.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in related field.

  • Minimum of two (2) years business-to-business technology based sales experience is preferred.

  • Minimum of two (2) years successful track record of performance in capital equipment sales in digital print solutions, graphic communications or promotional marketing is preferred.
