Sr. Go Back-End Developer (Betting/Gambling Experience) Remote

If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in developing and maintaining our industry-leading sportsbook platform.

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services for our sportsbook platform using Golang (primary language)

● Work on all aspects of the backend stack, including databases (MySQL, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis), messaging queues (Apache Kafka), container orchestration (Kubernetes), infrastructure provisioning (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines (BB Pipelines, ArgoCD)

● Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to optimize performance and ensure low latency

● Develop and maintain secure APIs for communication with front-end applications and other services

● Collaborate with front-end engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality

● Monitor and troubleshoot backend systems using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Jaeger ● Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code

● Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications:

● 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Golang

● Proven experience in sportsbook development (a plus)

● Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture

● Experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (BB Pipelines, ArgoCD)

● Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis)

● Experience with messaging queues (Apache Kafka)

● Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger)

● Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

● Strong communication and collaboration skills

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
