Job Summary

Summary:

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be one of the primary Human Resources contacts for the newly created Automotive Division. You will provide human resources support to all levels of management and employees. This includes change management, team effectiveness, and driving the roll out of Corporate Human Resources programs. As well, you will be responsible for addressing any and all Human Resources-related matters on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with senior management on organizational/business issues, including change management, talent, culture, team functioning, and leadership effectiveness.

  • Continuously assess the needs and performance of the assigned business area and target organization development, leadership development, and team development efforts to improve organizational functioning.

  • Deliver services that address division challenges related to business alignment, organization effectiveness, and leadership capability.

  • Develop and/or implement company-wide policies, programs, and initiatives (e.g. talent assessments/succession planning, reward programs, workforce planning) for assigned division.

  • Partner with M&A HR Team to support and facilitate merger and acquisition activities, including organization design, integration and assimilation.

  • Collaborate across the HR function to effectively leverage in-house expertise in aid of solving issues.

  • Assist the Employment team in the implementation of staffing strategies and supports hiring processes for a variety of levels from temporary staffing to executive placement.

  • Facilitate development and roll out of various geographically specific initiatives; collaborate with regional HR to address country-specific needs, as required.

  • Conduct fact finding investigation activities related to internal and external inquiries, complaints and concerns.

  • Perform daily HR management activities

  • Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Master's degree or MBA preferred

Minimum years of work experience:

  • 10 to 12 years

Required skills:

  • Global experience

  • Broad-based human resources experience as a generalist

  • Exceptional organizational, time management, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

  • Creative, flexible, innovative team player who can also work well in a leadership capacity with minimal oversight

  • Highly developed analytical skills

  • High energy and superb follow through

  • Customer service focus

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the company

  • Demonstrated success building business relationships and advising and coaching management on human resources solutions

  • Highly proficient using MS Office and other business tool

Job Summary Human Resources Generalist Focuses on daily HR operational and tactical activities. Provides support to the human resources business partner organization in the areas of HRIS/compensation/benefits, staffing/employment, employee relations, and/or organizational development (OD) and training. * Employee Relations: Participates in tier 1 employee relations - interprets HR guidelines and processes, provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information, counsels employees concerning work-related problems and provide feedback to management when necessary. * Organization Effectiveness: Participates in implementing workforce planning goals and process improvement initiatives; collaborates with international HR team on country-specific needs * Program Management: Facilitates the performance management, bonus planning, focal and equity planning processes; prepares and delivers related reports to the HRBPs and business leaders; partners with TA team to support Division/Function hiring processes including the contingent workforce * Data Gathering and Analysis: Participates in data gathering and analysis as it relates to compensation and/or benefits activities and employee turnover * Employee Engagement and Training: Supports new hire and employee on-boarding process and other employee training and may be involved in needs assessments and recommendations; supports employee engagement initiatives including local employee team building and social initiatives * Administration: Facilitates employee terminations and conducts exit interviews; prepares turnover analysis and may provide recommendations for employee retention efforts. Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as change-of-status and terminations, etc. Coordinates with HRIS, Payroll and Benefits teams to process administrative transactions as needed. * Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing. Education MBA or graduate level degree in Human Resources or related field of study Experience * 2 to 3 years HR and/or business experience (w/Master's Degree) * Ideal candidate will have previous HR experience including a working knowledge of employment laws, compensation practices, recruiting and HR procedures and systems Key Skills and Attributes * Intermediate to advanced level of expertise in MS Office tools * High EQ * Business oriented * Formal training in project and process management, financial accounting, business strategy and operations and/or sales/marketing operations. * Ability to work and build strong relationships with senior managers, leaders, partners and customers, including those in the c-suite * Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and collaborate effectively * Highly analytical - ability to understand business metrics, customer and market trends * Strong communication, inter-personal, and cross group collaboration skills; the ability to build and deliver effective presentations * Ability to engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders; from end users to senior management/executives Additional Information Nuance offers a compelling and rewarding work environment.
