Assesses global market environment and customer needs to identify threats and opportunities
Identifies strategic PC-IOL growth opportunities (working with cross-functional and cross re-gional counter-parts) and defines the strategic plan for PC-IOL growth
Oversees implementation of PC-IOL Franchise Strategy through close collaboration with R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, GPD and Legal departments
Ensures appropriate commercial input (including definition of Target Product Profiles, business cases, medical evidence and market access/HEOR plans) into all PC-IOL innovation projects
Guides delivery of comprehensive (and aligned) launch kit for new product introductions, to ensure product adoption, including: go to market strategy, comprehensive launch plans, com-mercial launch assets, training assets, medical evidence and podium plans, resource guid-ance, and product supply
Directs hand over of plans (through Launch Readiness Process) to regions and countries for successful implementation.
Shapes in-line product strategy and overall commercial potential of key Alcon brands
Cooperates with industry thought leaders and KOLs on new technologies and other business opportunities
Attainment of PC-IOL revenue, profit and market share goals
PC- IOL market growth
GFT and ELT alignment on PC-IOL strategy
Quality of launch strategy and launch execution (input from areas and affiliates on effectiveness of strategies, product performance, and launch tactics)
Completion of innovation milestones as per plan and timely launch as per strategic plan
