Sr. GIS Developer

IT Concepts is seeking to expand its team with a Sr. GIS Developer. The selected applicant will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to support development and configuration of GIS applications, perform scripting against databases/geodatabases, automation activities, and providing technical advising and implementation of Web and GIS concepts and products.

Location: This position can be performed remotely but candidates must reside within 2 hour driving radius of Woodlawn, MD for as needed meetings.

• Engage with clients on a regular basis, implementing technical solutions while fostering organizational GIS growth and system stability.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to provide regular project updates.

• Advise on best practices for GIS data standardization, ArcGIS user/group management, and geodatabase strategies.

• Work independently or in collaboration with members of product and design teams.

• Collaborate with partnering tech teams to ensure seamless integrated end-to-end solutions.

• Open mindset to working with and picking up new technologies to achieve design, code, testing, and deployment tasks.

• Research and learn new methodologies and technologies and bring new knowledge to the clients.

• Excellent problem-solving, writing, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.

• Must be able to pass a public background check.
