Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

Cognizant is looking for a Sr. Full stack Engineer with at least 12+ years of experience in developing customized product for our clients. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Locations: Schaumburg ,IL & Eden Prairie, MN (Hybrid)

Work Authorization: You should be legally eligible to work for any employer in the US without the need for a sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Building and consuming both RESTful API endpoints and asynchronous events to implement business logic.

• Building reusable code and libraries to be leveraged across our team and technology stack.

• Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries

• Partner closely with architecture teams and drive solutions

• Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases through sprints.

• Communicating thoughtfully with team members through design review, code review, and day-to-day collaboration, review code, and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance.

• Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and develop solutions as required.

• Comply with OCM software engineering practices, standards, and principles.

• Implement solutions aligned to the enterprise strategy, leveraging strategic tools/technologies, patterns, and processes

• Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications, automation of common tasks, processes/system capabilities for continuous improvement as applicable

• Partner with teams to build robust, efficient, effective solutions.

• Identify and resolve security and compliance findings.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related discipline

• 5+ years of Angular 8/9,

• Typescript.

• PostgreSQL,

• API Development,

• Cloud Azure,

• Jasmine,

• Karma,

• GraphQL, and Java
