Overview

This is a great time to join a dynamic team in a fast growing organization. Crestron Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer who will be part of a specialized team focused on user interface development. In this role, you will build and enhance web solutions for our cloud platform. To be successful in this role you must be passionate about web technology and have the ability to provide senior-level technical expertise within a multi-disciplinary development team. You will participate in all aspects of the presentation layer across multiple technology platforms and disciplines.

Responsibilities

Analyze product requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Work with discipline Leads and other engineers to create Module/Unit and Interface specification, implementation, integration and testing of product.
Perform development activities such as design, project estimates, coding, unit testing and integration testing.
Verify the integration between hardware and software.
Ensure operation and performance meet the requirements.
Review test plans to ensure they cover all product requirements.
Resolve technical issues and technical differences between technical team members. Escalate to managers when necessary.
Work as part of an agile team.
Special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience with accomplishments.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of web development experience with Angular 2+, NodeJS, JavaScript, JQuery, Typescript, HTML 5, CSS3, C#, .NET Web APIs
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and building enterprise-scale web solutions.
Must have a deep understanding of core Javascript concepts.
Must have a deep understanding of Angular2+ architecture and best practices.
Must have a strong command of layout, theming and typography using HTML5 and CSS3.
Proven track record of successfully adopting new web technologies at an enterprise-wide level.
Experience with continuous integration concepts and tools, particularly Microsoft TFS or Jenkins.
Must understand Agile/SCRUM methodologies and have applied them on a Scrum team.

Nice to have

Experience in developing multi-tenant PaaS cloud solutions with Microsoft Azure platform.
Prior experience with cloud software design patterns (micro services, messaging, distributed caching, etc.)
Experience with continuous integration concepts and tools, such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Microsoft TFS, TeamCity, etc.
Experience with Azure technologies such as IoT Hub, Event Hub, Service Bus, Micro Services, Service Fabric, Web sites, Web roles, Worker roles, Distributed Cache, Document DB, HD Insight etc.
Exceptional communication skills and technical confidence when presenting to senior management.
