BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years' software engineer with strong experience with React, ES6, jQuery, Semantic UI / Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, SAAS/LESS.
Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript and its fundamentals, as well as modern libraries, such as React and Redux.
Extensive experience building single page web applications and responsive websites.
Experience in code modularization, build management, minification, continuous integration and continuous deployment strategy using webpack, gulp, node, and Jenkins.
Experience with JavaScript unit testing framework like Karma, Jasmine or JEST with debugging skills.
Experience with remote data (via REST and JSON), Open source REST Simulation tools, Chrome PostMan and knowledge of the HTTP protocol.
UX / UI design Experience.
Experience and thorough understanding of Agile Software Development.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, and other frontend and backend engineers.

You will manage existing sourcing relationships and expand a cost effective and quality-focused sourcing and supply chain network, maximizing existing relationships and developing innovative and productive new sources. You will also have a strong background in product development and will collaborate closely with the design/development team to bring new and innovative products to market. You will have full responsibility for sourcing, production, supply chain management , product development, and technical design. THE ROLE (what you are accountable for) * Drive financial results by providing product solutions for business opportunities that are differentiated from the market and unique to the brand * Partner with Design and Merchandising leaders to align on business priorities and assortment architecture to build resources (internal & external) needed to deliver on assortment needs * Proactive approach to direct interface with factories, mills, vendors and team(s) from inception to pre-production engineering to ensure that the product being developed meets technical and aesthetic requirements within the targeted cost parameters * Continuous knowledge and evaluation of factory base capabilities and best execution location opportunities per factory. Ability to communicate and problem solve product challenges with vendors understanding their specialties * Strategically analyze seasonal vendor allocation including cost negotiations based on bottom-up breakdown of Bill of Materials (BOM) at division and dept level * Liaison between design, vendors, and hub office which may include travel as needed * Partner with Design and Merchandising to develop and monitor over development KPIs, timeline and development workflow * Perform competitive research; continually evaluate marketplace to identify and review applicability of key trends in manufacturing, fabrications and construction; identify significant innovations and share with partners in Merchandising and Design on regular basis * Lead, develop and manage team members.
