Do you want to work in a fast-paced R&D environment developing innovative analytical solutions for cell and protein biology?

We are currently seeking a Sr. Firmware/Electrical Engineer knowledgeable in firmware, electronics, and systems design to help advance our optical detection platforms using the latest techniques and best practices. The new role will be responsible for designing and implementing new components and systems, while also improving and building upon existing architecture and a portfolio of successful products.

What we'll get you doing:

• Designing, implementing and debugging changes to new/existing embedded systems

• Reviewing code and hardware designs with agile teams

• Generating test software and hardware experiments for component and systems verification

• Maintaining version control in Git

• Following best practices in build automation and unit testing

The essential requirements of the role include:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical or Systems Engineering

• 5+ years experience in embedded systems and firmware development

• Proficiency with C, Free RTOS required

• Experience with electrical schematic design and component selection

• Experience with Git or similar source control system

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with Altium

• Experience with Python

• Experience with motion control and hardware synchronization

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $140K-$160K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
