  • Responsible for the SAP general ledger maintenance process \u2013 ensuring accurate and timely transaction entry and reconciliation for all entities included with the GL environment. This includes help to research and resolve problems encountered during the interface between front-end systems and the general ledger each month.<\ i="">

  • Assist with SAP Global Template security administrator responsibilities, authorizations and billing<\ i="">
  • SAP Global Consolidation system (ECON) security administration responsibilities, authorizations, entitlement review and billing<\ i="">
  • Responsible for loading and supervising the load of data into the Global Consolidation system, as well as researching & resolving data entry errors.<\ i="">
  • Support maintenance and administration of the TM1 reporting tool. Load 3rd party accounting data into TM1 quarterly.<\ i="">
  • Support maintenance and administration of Trintech Cadency account reconciliation software.<\ i="">
  • Act as a systems resource for all areas of Corporate Accounting, aiding in the automation of routine tasks through macros or other processes.<\ i="">

  • Review existing processes to identify potential improvements and/or automation to assist in meeting deadlines, for both financial reporting and planning activities. <\ i="">

YOUR PROFILE

  • 7+ years of general ledger experience. SAP system experience required.<\ i="">
  • A 4 year degree in accounting or related field including finance, business management or business information systems.<\ i="">
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently and bring complex issues to resolution.<\ i="">
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing, including dealing with personnel at various levels in the organization, including at times senior management.<\ i="">
  • Experience with SAP general ledger and reporting tools in order to extract data from financial applications for analysis purposes.<\ i="">
  • A knowledge of multiple (e.g., Statutory, GAAP, or IFRS) financial statement components.<\ i="">
  • Extensive knowledge of the SAP modules. MR Group version a plus.<\ i="">
  • Ability to deal with detailed data and at the same time provide a \u201cbig picture\u201d perspective in identifying and resolving issues and in providing analysis associated with financial results as portrayed within the ledger environment.<\ i="">

The Opportunity

As a Sr Financial Systems Analyst, you will provide technical guidance and support for certain financial systems, most notably the SAP general ledger and Trintech Account Reconciliation database, through oversight, coordination with other departments and decision-making. This position's primary focus is to maintain an accurate and timely general ledger process on three bases of accounting (IFRS, GAAP, STAT).
