About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in our Brookfield office. This position will be responsible for the preparation of financial and business related analyses as well as research in the areas of finance, sales, operations, and other related functions. This position will support multiple business units and functional teams, as well as be an essential resource in deriving value and insights from these analyses in support of accelerating sustainable and profitable revenue growth for Fiserv.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports To: Director, Finance

Peers: Team members include levels ranging from Financials Sales Analyst, Associate to Sr. Financial Sales Analyst.

Direct Reports: N/A

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Support of Client Partner teams through monthly sales, contract and retention reporting.

  • Assist in the timely preparation and review of monthly results including analysis, metrics and business review decks.

  • Prepare monthly forecasts and analyze trends in sales, revenue general business conditions and other related areas.

  • Analysis and review of sales/client partner variable compensation calculations including projections for bonus and commissions based on current pipelines and quota.

  • Conduct special financial and business related studies and cooperate with other departments in preparing analyses

  • Recommend business process improvements and successfully implement procedures to improve efficiencies, accurately report results and increase company profits.

  • Compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed.

  • Problem solving is expected and frequent. Must be able to define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Ensure accuracy and transparency of reported and forecasted results

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and Corporate Policy

  • Acts as a resource and subject matter expert for the team.

  • Interact with different levels to provide analytical and financial support.

  • Ad hoc and monthly reporting.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • Minimum of 3+ years business related experience including similar job responsibilities.

  • Must be able to make decisions based on precedent and solve arising problems using sound judgment, experience and data gathered through research.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Must have the ability to quickly understand the organization, work environment, products, and processes alongside a working knowledge of financial analysis techniques.

  • Ideal candidate will have significant experience in Excel based financial modeling, creating various financial analyses and working with non-finance business partners. Prior experience working with revenue analyses is a plus.

  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of raw data and make the complex simple, inform management of significant findings, propose new analyses to add value, and make recommendations leading to improved Company performance

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting theory, practices, principles, and regulations.

  • Strong organization skills in order to effectively manage several concurrent projects and priorities.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to prepare reports in a timely and effective manner

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as a team member.

  • Able to build and maintain excellent working relationships throughout the organization.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Limited travel as required


  • Previous banking or similar industry knowledge.
  • CPA and MBA a plus


Exposed to a normal office environment; requires sitting at a desk, as well as long periods viewing a computer monitor and repetitive use of a keyboard / mouse
