Job Purpose

Develop and maintain financial models to provide business and financial analysis to support company initiatives and act as financial advisor to Finance Management and business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Long Term Plan (LTP) Model and Forecasting / Budgeting

o Develop and maintain model on a regular basis, work with various business units and functions to gather inputs, generate sensitivity analysis, and create reports and presentations

o Model various corporate strategic initiatives and layer on to the LTP model

o Assist with the monthly forecast and annual budget activities

• Commission analyses

o Assist with testing and implementation of commission plans

o Work on monthly commission expense and other ad hoc commission related projects

• Ad hoc analyses

o Create financial models and what-if scenarios to generate insights on various strategic matters.

o Research and Present meaningful, impactful, and timely business and financial analysis to guide Finance Management and business functions to improve operating and financial performance

• M&A

o Develop financial model for integration and work with various business functions to gather inputs for the model

o Assist with due diligence

o Interact with business functions of acquired companies to track performance

o Assist with budgeting and monthly forecasting for acquired company

• Prepare various presentations and financial reports to investors.

• Work on special projects as needed

Required Experience

• BA in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred

• 9+ years of progressive experience in Finance and financial modeling

• Software industry and experience with SaaS business model is required

• Prior experience in FP&A, Corporate Development, Strategic Planning, Investment Banking, Management Consulting is a plus

• Strong financial modeling and quantitative skills

• Strong Excel background

• Experience with influencing strategy and decision making through analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning

• Experience in distilling large data sets and complex topics to key business concepts and insights (storytelling)

• Systems background preferably in Salesforce and NetSuite.

• Strong EQ; ability to work effectively with all members of the organization and in cross functional teams

• Detail orientated with the ability to see the big picture and work with little supervision

• Ability to work proactively and independently and meet tight deadlines

The base salary range for this role, across the US is $155,757 - $280,362. Your actual base pay within this range will be determined by your work location as well as skills, qualifications, experience, and relevant education/training. The range provided reflects only the base salary for the role and does not include benefits.
