Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (Rocky Hill, CT)

This is a hybrid position and we're looking for this person to come into the Rocky Hill, CT office twice a week.

Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst Overview

Clarus Direct is seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join our team! This person will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis as it relates to our direct-to-consumer business. The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will evaluate the financial performance of the Company and our marketing programs by compiling data, developing reports and presenting financial information and analysis to business teams.

The position will use tools such as, Jira, Tableau, Adaptive, INTACCT, and Excel to create and maintain forecasts, budgets, ad-hoc reporting, and monthly variance analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts.

• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing performance towards profitability and goals set forth by Senior Leadership.

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, incorporating inputs from various stakeholders and aligning with the company goals.

• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.

• Prepare and present monthly reports and presentations, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and monthly forecasts.

• Accompanied by accounting, play a key role in cash flow forecasting.

• Develop and maintain monthly KPI's, financial statement preparation, and various performance measures as required by the Board of Directors.

• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support the business unit.

• Proactively identify opportunities to both scale and support financial growth.

Skills and Experience of Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

• 2+ years of financial analysis experience

• Analytical and fine attention to detail

• Experience in Adaptive is a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point

• Working experience with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.

• Proficient communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
