The Sr. Financial Analyst will assist in the planning, preparation, coordination, review and analysis of departmental financial activities including the development of forecasts, budgets and process work flow of documents for authorization. This position will primarily report to the Budget Manager and through delegated authority have responsibility for providing advice; guidance and support to departments for matters associated with budgets and budgetary controls.
Key responsibilities include supporting the Budget Team, UHealth and School of Medicine by providing management and analytical information for the purposes of financial management and budgetary controls; such that clear reports of progress revenues and expenditures can be managed. Prepare submissions and reports for leadership to support the achievement of the School of Medicine targets. The incumbent on this position will also work and interact with University financial officers and accounting personnel.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
