Senior Financial Analyst Position Reports to : Director of Finance Location : Colorado Springs, CO Career Level : Mid-Level Salary : $90,000-$115,000 Minimum Education and Experience Requirements : Bachelor's Degree required preferably in finance, accounting, or business from a four-year college or university. 5 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting with a focus on operational finance and business partnering. Superior Excel knowledge and financial management software. Experience in MarkSystems and MySQL is preferred.

Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills with a desire to resolve issues and/or provide options for solutions. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, providing strategic insights, and partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes. Responsibilities Cash Forecasting:

Responsible for weekly cash forecasting and treasury execution. Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to evaluate business performance, identify key trends, and forecast future financial outcomes.

Operational Analysis: Utilize operational data to assess efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and develop actionable recommendations to enhance operational performance. Budgeting & Forecasting:

Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with departmental leaders to develop accurate financial projections and strategic plans. Variance Analysis: Analyze variances between actual and budgeted performance, investigate root causes, and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators to monitor business performance, track progress towards strategic goals, and drive continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner closely with various departments, including Operations, Sales, and Marketing, to align financial objectives with operational strategies and drive cross-functional initiatives. Financial Modeling: Build financial models to support decision-making, scenario analysis, and strategic planning initiatives.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices to optimize financial and operational performance. Reporting and Presentation:

Prepare and present financial reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management, effectively communicating complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner. Ad Hoc Projects: Lead and participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management, contributing financial expertise and insights to support business objectives.
