Position Summary
The North America Planning Senior Finance Analyst is a trusted advisor that has the responsibility to lead, deliver proper financial insight, & drive continuous improvement on key NAM supply chain areas such as volume planning, inventory, and imports
Success in this role will require business partnering and building strong relationships with the front office, Global Supply Chain, accounting, and finance teams
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure governance and controls over inventory along with partnering with the organization to drive action plans to ensure optimal inventory levels (inventory reevaluation, excess & obsolete provision, margin on inventory, etc.)
Collaboration with the front office and supply chain clusters to drive sales volume forecasting accuracy and support strategic decision making
Lead month-end close along with quarterly forecast process
Partnership with accounting & working with external auditors on the execution of the audit
Lead and contribute to transversal initiatives (including further digitization & automation) and support the business in ad hoc requests resolution

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent
At least 2+ years of working experience in a Finance, Accounting role or related field
Demonstrates knowledge of commonly used accounting and information technology concepts, practices, and procedures
Skills & Abilities
Strong data analytic skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills including handling multiple demands and assignments and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently
Preferences
At least 3+ years of working experience in a Finance, Accounting role or related field in large matrix accounting firm or organization
Advanced knowledge of Excel, SAP, MS Office
