Senior Financial Analyst $90,000 - rj My client is production company in Wilmington, DE looking to hire a full-time Senior Financial Analyst to join their dymiac team. Job Functions: ? Prepare internal (operational) financial statements for management ? Act as key liason for Regional Manufacturing Manager for all sites within the region / business segment, coordinating with other Analysts responsible for plants reporting to the Regional Manager ? Prepare key performance indicators (?KPIs?) and dashboards for operations management using both financial and non-financial data ? Correlate monthly operations data (e.g. production metrics) to financial data (costs and profit) to highlight the opportunity costs of production deficiencies ? Coordinate weekly/monthly physical inventory counts at plants ? Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis ? Review, analyze and comment on the evolution of departmental costs ? Prepare and review annual standard costs Required experience: ? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance ? 7-10 years cost and management accounting experience ? Description The Collections and Recovery Risk team's mission is to help customers bring their accounts current or fairly resolve their debt. The Collections and Recovery Risk team owns strategy and policy and partners closely with the Operations and Technology teams on implementation and execution. This position is within the Branded Cards Collections Segmentation Strategy team. The team is responsible for managing collections strategies related to Brands ex Costco, Costco, consumer and business card. Key Responsibilities include: * Hypothesis development, analysis, test design, test vs. control analysis, development of recommendations, and oversight of implementation * Identifying new strategies and efficiencies in collections * Designing tests and rollout strategies * Analyzing tests and performance using SAS/SQL * Conducting P&L analysis * Developing, validating and/or reviewing management reporting * Partnering with others (both inside & outside the team) to implement and assess strategy changes Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree required in statistics, mathematics, engineering, physics, economics, or related quantitative discipline. MBA/MS is highly desirable * 3-4 years' experience in financial, economics or other analytical capacity (or 1-2+ years' experience with Master's Degree or PhD) * Proficient with SAS/SQL or experience with data manipulation tools; knowledge of MS Office required * Experience in consumer lending business and/or risk management is preferred but not required. * Excellent quantitative and analytic skills; ability to derive patterns, trends and insights and provide recommendations * Good written and verbal communication skills, with ability to connect analytics to business decisions; comfortable presenting to peers and management * Extremely detail-oriented and possess intellectual curiosity Citigroup Inc.
