Our client, a leader in providing research services, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, with an emphasis on FP A, to join one of their most exciting and profitable divisions. The Senior Financial Analyst must possess excellent communication, technical, and analytical skills. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial reporting, business analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and completing special projects under the direction of the VP. This is a high exposure role and the Senior Financial Analyst must have experience presenting findings and preparing presentations for executive leadership. Other duties and responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst include but are not limited to:

  • Providing quality management information reporting.

  • Continuously improving the process, speed, and clarity of deliverables.

  • Assisting with the preparation of Board and investor relations materials, along with developing ad hoc reports and analytics for senior management presentations.

  • Serving as a strong partner to Group finance colleagues by assisting with reporting and analytical requirements. Supporting the monthly close process in accordance with GAAP. Interested candidates should email their resume to .

Requirements
The ideal Senior Financial Analyst will have a Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Finance or Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred. Other requirements include but are not limited to: - 3++ years? experience in Corporate finance, Financial Planning and Analysis; - Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus

  • Experienced in Hyperion

  • Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
