In this exciting role, the Senior Financial Analyst position will support any combination of financial and business information, analysis and modeling in support of the company's business objectives. This includes, but is not limited to the annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, monthly financial reporting, Key Performance Indicators, presentation preparation and business controls. The analyst will also work to development enhancements to existing processes to drive improved financial transparency and awareness. Analyst may also perform competitor and industry analysis and support special projects that are aligned with the company's business goals. This role is expected to work with limited supervision.

This position will serve Rheem's Water Heater Division in Roswell, GA.


  • Assist in the development of the annual operating plan and monthly and quarterly forecasts

  • Provides support for preparation of business review presentations, as well as, completes work on special projects for senior business team leaders that is in alignment with company-wide goals

  • Develops a strong technical understanding enterprise performance management suite of systems including OneStream, Oracle R12

  • Performs variance and trending analysis

  • May be responsible for analyzing the monthly financial performance and providing commentary for the material variances to prior year and plan

  • Efficient data mining/querying and reporting.

  • Prepare and update month and quarter end reports.

  • Perform advanced analysis activities, including defining, measuring and communicating core metrics and providing insight to the business.

  • Orientation to continuous performance improvement coupled with root cause analysis.

  • Emphasis and focus on driving profitable growth

  • Generation and distribution of Division monthly reporting package

  • Monthly close process, Journal Entries, Balance Sheet reconciliations

  • Preparation of corporate reporting deliverables

  • Standardization and consolidation of budget and forecast process

  • P&L variance analysis and reporting metrics

  • Division cost allocations

  • Self-starter with strong teamwork skills and ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders across functional areas


  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to the audience

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Experience with modeling income statements, balance sheets and cash flows

  • Strong understanding of financial concepts such as ROI, NPV, EVA, etc.

  • Proven analyst with experience forecasting and providing actuals in a timely and accurate manner critical.

  • Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets.

  • An affinity to talking with numbers; inherent aptitude to quantify and support conclusions with data.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational and management skills.

  • Keep up-to-date on technology trends, developments & best practices.

  • Ability to communicate effectively to both technical & non-technical audiences.

  • Relentless focus on accuracy and getting things done.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related area.

  • 3 years of related work experience

  • Proven track record of developing technical skills (VBA, SQL, Hyperion Planning rule development, Oracle Data Warehouse report writing, Dashboards creating and maintenance, etc.)

  • Proficient with Oracle, Microsoft Office Applications, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organization is a key priority in this role

Responsibilities The Senior Maintenance Mechanic will maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment and systems to include but not be limited to: pumps, motors, lamp ballasts, lamping, light to medium carpentry work, commercial door repairs, automatic door operators, light to medium sheetrock repairs, general plumbing repairs of valves, piping, and pneumatic control air systems and compressors. Will complete journeyman to master level work and will serve as a resource and educator to other Maintenance Mechanics. Assists lead mechanic in overseeing the operation and repair of building mechanical systems. Position also performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and systems. In addition, Senior Mechanic will complete tasks related to Line Safety PMs, SOC Drawings, above ceiling programs, maintain tube stations, power plant operations, medical gas, medical vacuum, elevators, emergency generators, fire alarm systems, nurse call system, TVs, overhead paging, and construction and renovation projects. Certification/license or formal education in one or more of the following: HVAC, Plumbing and/or Electrical Required Minimum Experience: Five (5+) years experience in general mechanical maintenance and repairs. Required Minimum Skills: Candidate will have extensive knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, HVAC controls, TV, nurse call, tube system, medical air, automatic and manual doors, including subject matter expertise in at least one of these areas. Some knowledge of Joint Commission areas. Candidate should have verifiable experience in trouble shooting and repair of pumps, motors, pneumatic control air systems, plumbing repairs, commercial door repair and installation and automatic door operator repairs. In addition, candidate must have some experience in carpentry and sheet rock work and repairs. The candidate must have extensive knowledge of use of power tools, hand tools and diagnostic equipment related to the disciplines above.
