Job Description:

The Navigation, Weather, and Services (NWS) mission area within IIS is a dynamic business with over 100 contracts and $1.5B annual sales in both domestic and international markets. Working in the NWS mission area Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) organization will give the candidate a unique opportunity to work closely with Finance leadership, Business Development, Contracts, Supply Chain, Engineering, Mission Assurance, and the Program Office to drive growth and predictable financial results. Open communication with these functions will be critical to consolidate information, analyze variances, and determine future projections.

Direct responsibilities will include bookings forecasting, mission area risk and opportunity management, capital/NBI planning, overhead budget development and tracking, audit support, strategic planning, annual operating plan, and monthly operating review cycles.

Required Skills:

  • Requires a related university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office applications; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Rplan forecasting and Business Warehouse (BW) experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Discretion with sensitive data and a high level of professionalism

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated teaming and leadership skills

  • General knowledge of accounting for Government contracts.

  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks at one time and provide in depth analysis of complex data

  • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills

Required Education:

  • Requires a related university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.

The successful candidate will collaborate with key leaders in the Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain as well as the ICS Leadership team to support financial reviews and execution of programs with significant content in the long-term PCS 5 year strategic plan. In this role, the candidate will execute a variety of program and financial control activities, including supporting quarterly Estimates-at-Complete (EACs), Monthly Operating Reviews, and contract-specific deliverables. In addition, primary responsibilities will include utilizing the full complement of program controls tools (Business Warehouse, SAP/APEX, PMX Tool Suite) to provide targeted EVMS analysis that drives efficiencies and meets Raytheon EVMS compliance standards. The candidate will be a focal point for Control Account Managers (CAMs) and the Program Office to support the development of various program funding profiles, sales outlooks, billing projections, and Variance Analysis Reports. This position will be an integrated part of a fast paced finance team where tactical thinking, multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements. The successful candidate will be able to provide support for ad hoc data requests as well as participating in other projects for the PCS Business Manager as required.
