Your daily responsibilities include
The Senior Financial Analyst assists in consolidation and analysis of property reports and internal management reporting packages, forecasts, and budgets for corporate review. This role also is responsible for performing financial modeling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Forecasting and Reporting
Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of Oracle as it relates to budget and forecast reporting. Maintenance includes but not limited to editing reports for acquisitions and adjusting statistical forms as needed for changes in report requirements.
Integrates company acquisitions and developments into entire existing financial reporting process.
Prepares and distributes various monthly and quarterly management reports to executive management.
Participates in the migration of company budget and forecasting processes to Oracle.
Annual Budget Process
Participates in annual budget process, inclusive of market research, target setting and communication, and consolidation of property budget packages.
Assists in reviewing all budget submissions to ensure compliance with guidance, as well as analysis on overall results.
Develops models that allow operators to efficiently analyze metrics and compare a property's performance to similar operations in the company's portfolio to improve operations. Makes recommendations for imporvement.
Daily Operating Report
Responsible for managing the daily operating report rollup process. Makes improvements as needed.
Assists with process improvement and automation of tasks using new software tools.

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting, Finance or related field from accredited four-year college or university; or three to five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Financial modeling and reporting experience required. M&A and development experience preferred but not required.
Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and Power Point). Advanced Excel macros proficiency preferred.
Having experience in Oracle and Tableau systems is preferred but not required.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to adapt to changes in prioritization or schedules of items in the work queue as necessary when communicated/directed.
Must have excellent organization skills and be detailed oriented.
Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to meet deadlines, including projects that require a quick time frame.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
