We are now looking for Sr. Financial Analysts with background in operations finance to join our growing team of professionals supporting the Hardware Engineering business area.

As an integral member of the Finance team, the Analyst's overarching responsibilities are to partner with the HW Engineering group in all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis. Strong focus placed on the delivery of high quality and efficient financial processes, data, services, and analysis. This is a critical and highly visible position where extensive experience in financial analysis, business modeling, ERP systems (SAP/BPC) relevant to the high-tech industry is required. You need the ability to form strong working partnerships in a highly matrixed organization to effectively execute and support the Company's objectives.

What you'll be doing:

  • You will be the primary finance business partner to several senior leaders, developing a deep understanding of the business and the groups you support.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support all aspects of FP&A including opex and capex spending forecasts, spending controls, close processes, variance analysis. Crisply communicate financial results to senior leadership within finance and HW Engineering.

  • Deliver insight and analysis on projects, tradeoff decisions, and other business topics through thoughtful NPV analysis, make vs. buy analysis, finance & accounting expertise.

  • Initiate/support process and control improvements for increased quality, efficiency and effectiveness of data.

  • Maintain highest integrity with regard to the Company's financial accounting and reporting policies.

What we need to see:

  • 10+ years of experience in business finance roles, including experience in silicon product development R&D

  • Knowledge in using industry-standard SAP/BPC, and BI platforms

  • Consistent record building positive relationships across a large organization to define and implement financial objectives and enabling change.

  • Finance or business degree required

  • Energy and real passion for delivering results in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Aids organization with financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control, and project control. Leads special projects and other assigned initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluates and analyzes a variety of financial results and indicators such as capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc. requiring advanced expertise. Compiles budgetary and fiscal data received from assigned departments to prepare revenue balance statements and historical comparisons of departmental expenditures with requested appropriations. Completes complex analysis of records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses. Conducts special studies as assigned to support senior management. Develops presentations of findings and results. Advises management on matters, such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Interprets budgets to management. Prepares reports analyzing specific aspects of department structures, functions and operational procedures and recommends ways to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness. Performs other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May lead project teams and/or plan staff assignments. Duties may encompass technical guidance and/or training of co-workers as well as policy development and participation in special initiatives such as modeling, system implementations or acquisition integrations. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires strong knowledge of financial terms, concepts and accounting principles and the ability to comprehend and interpret complex financial transactions. REASONING ABILITY Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex financial information and transactions and accounting principles. Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired such as HFM Consolidation, PeopleSoft Financials and Cognos Planning. Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology is helpful. Strong work ethic and adaptable.
