The Finance Analyst provides financial andanalytical support for customer dealswithin McKesson Specialty Health, in particular working with the SpecialtyPharmacy. This role will focus on developing and accurately maintainingprofitability models to support the business unit's pricing strategy. This rolewill also will be responsible for managing ad hoc reporting needs and specialprojects. This role will require collaboration with
Sales, Finance, Operations, Contract Admin, IT, and other key groups. The FinanceAnalyst position will be located in Cary, NC and report to the Finance Manager.
Provide financial and analytical support through profitability models to assess current and future performance of customers deals
Develops and maintains complex financial models using large amount of data
Performs ad-hoc performance analysis (post mortem) at the project level
Participates in and prepares for strategy meetings
Leads projects including establishing timelines, deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations
Maintains strong collaboration with cross functional teams including Sales, Finance, and Operations
Maintains knowledge and stays abreast of developments in the industry by analysis obtained from financial publications and services, government agencies, company sources, and personal interviews
5 years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience
Profitability modeling experience
Excellent Financial modeling skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Strong communication and collaboration skills including the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance business partners.
Demonstrated progression in responsibilities in current or prior roles
Additional Knowledge& Skills
Excellent deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and make recommendations
Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
Comfort working with complex and unstructured data
Must be a team player, self starter and able to work under general direction
Business Warehouse (BW), SAP and Salesforce.com experience desired
Knowledge of pharmacy business model including payor reimbursement a plus
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance. MBA or MSA preferred
Up to 15% travel required
