The Sr. Financial Analyst Plus Segment FP&A will provide financial, analytical and business initiative support to the Plus Segment FP&A and Finance leadership teams. Responsible for maintaining daily/weekly/monthly business reporting needs, providing advanced ad-hoc business analysis and key business meeting, brand initiative and project support. The candidate must have a high level of business curiosity, the ability to think strategically, provide thought leadership and seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
Responsible for the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of internal management reporting. Role will be expected to provide meaningful and actionable business insights in support of sales, margin and operating income growth.
Serve as a "go to" resource for advanced, data-rich requests and provide financial support and analysis to key business leaders on an ad-hoc basis.
Support the development of new analytical tools and reporting.
Periodic support of key internal business meetings and recurring corporate deliverables.
Responsible for forecasting and analysis of supply chain costs and omni-channel business initiatives
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other analytical degrees (Engineering, Computer Science). Strong logic, math, reasoning skills essential.
3-5 years of business experience in corporate finance/financial planning and analysis role, or related finance/analytical role.
Advanced Excel skills required including advanced spreadsheet management, financial model building and the ability to easily manipulate large volumes of data.
Experience with SQL, R, MicroStrategy, APT or other BI applications a plus.
Ability to draw and communicate actionable insights from large sets of data.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present a cohesive story or solution to management.
High attention to detail and the ability to consistently generate a high quality product with an extreme focus on data accuracy.
Motivated, creative and conscientious self-starter who appreciates challenges and takes ownership to improve the status quo.
Must exhibit an interest in the business and seek opportunities to initiate new analysis, reporting or projects to support the company. Must be focused on continuous improvement with an ability to add value and efficiencies across all current practices.
Prior retail finance / accounting experience required.
