Our Senior Financial Analyst are responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial plans and controls, pricing and proposal analysis, program scheduling and cost management. You are the SME to represent and communicate the financial status, challenges, and forecasts for the teams and groups that you support. You must have the maturity and experience to know when and how to ask for help. You must be able to work autonomously with little direction. Willing to share process improvement ideas with the entire finance team.

Job responsibilities include:

Preparation of, and reporting on:

  • Weekly cost reports for customer and cost account management review

  • Contract funds status reports

  • Monthly program management review packages

  • Internal forecasts of estimates to complete

  • Internal monthly reviews

  • Participate in the development and input of budgets, work breakdown structures, and work package plans

  • Analyze expenditure trends; revenue projections and support ad-hoc report requests

  • Other duties as management requests

Location: Salt Lake City, UT relocation is not offered at this time

Schedule: Monday

  • Friday 9/80,every other Friday off

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • Current hands on experience as a Financial Analyst within a DoD contracting company.

  • 8+ years current experience as a Sr Financial Analyst or Financial Analyst in an accounting or finance department.

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business discipline.

  • 4+ years hands on experience with Earned Value (EV) and EVMS.

  • Advanced experience with MS Office suite

  • Advanced experience with Excel including pivot tables, lookups, and macros.

Active DoD security clearance

Experiencewith Cobra EVMS

This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicant's skills, education and experience.

Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

You will play an integral role in supporting international areas in all financial/system/compliance matters relating to the educational initiatives. Responsibilities Specific duties and functions of the position include, but are certainly not limited to: * Preparing and analyzing loan/grant portfolios. * Identifying trends and potential areas of concern. Recommending adjustments. Performing some accounting functions. * Anticipating future needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from accredited institution in Accounting or Finance (required). A graduate degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred). Eight to ten years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, accounting systems auditing, accounting systems implementation or equivalent (required). CPA, CIA, or CMA certification (strongly preferred). English and Spanish or Portuguese fluency (required). Experience using PeopleSoft and SRS Connect or Microsoft Dynamics CRM (strongly preferred), experience using Nortridge Loan Servicing software (preferred). Experience in accounting system implementation. Exceptional analytical abilities and proficiency in MS Excel. High level of curiosity and self-motivation in digging deeper into data and trends and driving actionable insights. Ability to handle tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking and organizational skills are vital.
