Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Financial Analyst global role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.

The role will also act as a liaison between corporate deadlines and local market submissions. The primary responsibilities include collecting data from markets across the network, reviewing the data, and assisting in any follow ups based on analysis findings. Additionally, the role also requires collaborating with management to collect information for budgeting and forecasting, reviewing revenue submissions, entering budgets and forecasts into financial systems, and assisting in the preparation of budget presentations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data of large-size divisions during month-end and forecasting periods.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage the budgeting/forecasting and reporting process for certain divisions to ensure that all internal and corporate deadlines are met.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Management:

Analyze financial results of specific divisions during month-end close.

Prepares monthly analyses of key general ledger accounts compared to prior year, budget & current forecast.

Assist Finance Manager in preparing revenue and expense variance commentary for IPG and Finance Director(s).

Collect and consolidate financial data, involving a number of companies across multiple currencies ensuring accuracy and adherence to the reporting deadline.

Perform ad hoc tasks for the IPG Health controllers team

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Manage the budgeting/forecasting and reporting process for certain divisions to ensure that all internal and corporate deadlines are met.

Review revenue submission for budget/forecast to ensure rebate calculations are correct and analyzes trends

Produce additional reports as required.

EDUCATION:

DEGREE/DIPLOMA

AREA OF STUDY

REQUIRED/PREFERRED

Bachelor's degree

Finance, Accounting, or related field

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Proficient with advanced Microsoft Excel functions to perform lookups, pivot tables, charts, graphs, and data capture.

Advanced understanding of SAP systems.

Basic to advanced knowledge of Vantage/Fiori systems.

Strong organizational skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Responsible and thorough.

Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, cultures across varied geographic environments.

Strong execution skills and sense of urgency to deliver goals timely.
