POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Financial Analyst for Franchisee Finance will drive the analytics and reporting on the financial health of our franchisee network, as well as the capital budgeting decisions around new stores, relocations, and remodels for the company-operated store portfolio. This position will not have any direct reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

May perform any or all of the following duties:

  • Produce quarterly and ad hoc business reviews of our significant franchisees to understand their performance and forward-looking strategy as it relates to CKE's corporate goals

  • Review and distribute monthly financial health metrics for the network of franchisees

  • Develop and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and provide benchmarking that can be used to improve performance of both company-operated and franchised restaurants

  • Maintain and refine financial modeling that optimizes our store development capital budgeting decisions

  • Validate and standardize large data sets received from external sources

  • Build pro-forma financial models to provide analytical support for business initiatives

  • Perform ad-hoc analytical or due diligence support related to franchisee finance and store development #LI-ES1

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS / CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Approximately three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role, or equivalent experience, within a corporate environment

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field; MBA preferred

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, including an intermediate to advanced knowledge in Excel and Access

  • General knowledge of multi-unit restaurant or retail business model and financial statements

  • Experience with ERP and Business Intelligence (BI) systems preferred

  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with internal partners

  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and desire to dig further into the details to solve problems

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an attention to detail

  • Solid work ethic; commitment to seeing duties completed at a high standard of quality
