POSITION PURPOSE:

The KBCO & Xcel Sr Financial Analyst will be responsible for the oversight of Financial and Operational Accounting, Reporting, Budgeting and

Analysis for KBCO and X-Cel Business Units.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

KBCo & X-Cel

Month End Close

Lead month end close process, including presentation of the financial results to Executive Management (EM).

Manage the P&L for KBCO & Xcel in coordination with the Business Units that distribute and sell the products.

Lead monthly Business Financial Review preparation and support presentation to EM.

Ensure proper accounting policies and classification of accounts in order to maintain consistent and accurate financial statements.

Annual Forecast and Budget

Lead annual Forecast and Budgeting activities.

Partner with EM to ensure business strategies and objectives are incorporated into Forecast & Budget

Interface with other Business Units that distribute KBCo and X-Cel products, as well as Shared Service Group costs. to develop the

product Budgets for KBCo and X-Cel.

Prepare presentations for EM review, Pre-Board and Board Presentation

Business Partnership

Work with Business Unit Leader to develop strategies that will drive both sales and profitable growth.

Validate the financial impacts of corporate strategies to be sure they drive desired results.

Challenge management team financial assumptions in decision making process.

Develop a business partner relationship with the KBCo Leadership Team by providing them with the means to understand their

sales, margin, expenses, and balance sheet while providing them with ideas to improve business results.

Data Base Management and Customer Reporting

Development, Oversight, and Maintenance of Customer and Product analysis database.

Special Projects

Support special projects for profit improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancements.

Identify opportunities to reduce cost and increase profitability throughout the organization. Initiate projects to achieve

improvements in these areas

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Business Administration required major in accounting and or finance (CPA/MBA and Finance a plus)

Minimum of 5 years of professional business Analysis or accounting experience

Excellent personal computer skills Excel and Access database

Self motivated increasingly able accept additional responsibilities

Team player successful in a cross functional environment

A fast learner, able to learn the lab business in a short time

Excellent communication skills verbal, written, and presentation

JOB DESCRIPTION: Summary – this position is a key value-added role within ADD Dallas Operations that partners with various levels of leadership to drive financial ownership, cost efficiency, and business excellence. Key responsibilities: * Develop business budgets and forecasts such as annual Plan, LRP (long-range plan), and LBE (Latest Best Estimate) for Dallas Operation departments. Support monthly financial reporting and submission to Division for actuals, LBE, balance sheet and Headcount. * Support Standard Cost setting for annual Plan; perform SCOP and OMC variance analysis to support Plan and LBE process. * Perform accounting responsibilities for month-end close (e.g. JE preparation, P&L commentary, HC reporting, Balance Sheet commentary). * Conduct regularly financial reviews with business partners to communicate financial performance and key business issues and provide valuable insight to help business achieve financial goals. * Manage Site capital budget (Plan and LBE), review RCE's and capital purchase requisitions. * Review and approve non-inventory purchase requisitions. * Provide ad hoc analyses to support complex decision making and propose final recommendations to management and business leaders; serve as financial lead in cross-functional team environments. Experience/ Skills Required: * Minimum 5 years of accounting / financial planning and analysis experience.
