The primary role of the Sr Finance Analyst is to support the Finance Director in driving the Business Unit towards achieving its Business and Financial objectives. The Sr Fin Analyst will provide the necessary financial analysis required for decision support on all key initiatives within the BU.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing Business Unit financial results

• Developing financial models and performing research and analysis as required by Finance leadership and Business Unit management.

• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to identify critical requirements and provide timely information to support robust decision making.

• Assist in developing Business Unit annual plans, strategic plans, and forecasts.

• Monitor business unit performance against the established KPIs, prior year results and annual budget; provide variance analysis and identify opportunities and required corrective actions.

• Drive financial analysis for strategic decisions including, but not limited to margin accretive product innovations, sourcing studies, and other BU / brand initiatives.

• Ad hoc analysis to support various BU / Brand initiatives.

• Drive cost savings by identifying and analyzing BU / brand cost driver

Experience, Skills, Education:

• Bachelor's Degree required in Finance or Accounting

• 3-5 years of finance experience within a CPG environment required, food experience a plus

• Ability to analyze data and situations and assess critical issues

• Ability to manage multiple, and at times competing priorities, balancing aggressive objectives against short-term operational profit and cash requirements

• Hands on, goal oriented, performance driven

• High level of personal and professional integrity

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Time Management skillset to create sufficient time/space to contribute to ad hoc requests and participate in significant cross-category and/or cross-functional initiatives

• Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational, team building, project management, and analytical skills

• Understanding / experience with Oracle JDE / EPM platform a plus
