Sr. Finance Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Finance Operations Senior Manager works closely with BrassCraft's Operations Team and Finance Operations Team to provide analytical support and financial reporting. This role will require strong Accounting, Costing and Analytical skills as they work collaboratively across many areas of the organization to build relationships and assist in forward thinking. This is a hybrid position based out of Novi, Michigan.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with all areas of operations budgeting process

• Create and populate budget templates/reports

• Collaborates cross-functionally and assists with the build of yearly Standard Costs calculations and files

• Evaluate and recommends changes in the company's cost structure, as appropriate.

• Supports the yearly cost roll process

• Performs deep dives and analysis on manufacturing variances and PPV

• Drive make vs buy analysis from the finance side

• Performs cost analysis as needed, in conjunction with Finance ops analyst

• Develops reporting and analytical tools to assist in daily operations

• Assists with monthly forecast projections

• Compile and analyze financial reports that indicate trends, variances inventories

• Assist in monitoring, performing, and testing of Internal Controls

• Help Drive implementation and streamlining of internal controls processes

• Lead the month-end process for Ops finance, working cross-functionally with Operations.

• Lead month-end explanations and commentary

• Lead and coordinate Forecasting efforts and consolidation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• 5-7 years Accounting, costing and manufacturing experience.

• CPA certification required

• Excellent problem solving, issue identification, analytical skills.

• Able to work independently and productively

• Critical thinker who enjoys working as part of collaborative team

• Ability to lead multiple projects of differing scale and duration

• Desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies

• Advanced Excel Skills (writing complex formulas)

Hiring Range: $83,900.00 - $131,890.00
