Job Description

We are looking for a business and data oriented senior financial analyst, with a curious and innovative mindset. The role will be reporting to the Finance Planning & Analysis Manager and supporting ongoing financial forecast and performance of the Spanish affiliate P&L. In a highly transformative environment, She/He will also be in charge of the different interactive dashboard (Power BI) and the development of new ones based on the evolutive needs of the different commercial stakeholders in order to support decision making on specific topics (e.g. product portfolio analysis, expense/investment analysis, profitability of new opportunities, impacts of regulatory changes, revenue models, profit margin analysis…).

Responsabilities:

• Assists with the month end close involving SAP activities, Power BI Dashboard refreshes in order to the extended financial team to proceed with the analysis of the performance of the month.

• Assists with the financial reporting activities to Europe Team including system data submission (via BPC /APT - SAP tool), Last Best Estimates (Monthly revised P&L for the year) and preparation of related review packages with variance analysis/commentary on sales, expenses, headcount and capital.

• Create, adjust, Power BI dashboard based on the needs of the different stakeholders, optimizing all the data source available to make all the processes agile.

• Assists with the build up of the story of the Spanish affiliate during the cycles (Plan and Long Range Plan). It includes variance analysis and commentary to local and Europe management under direct guidance of Manager.

• Provides accurate and timely Adhoc analysis deliverables to direct Manager.

• Assists with financial support to functional business managers (Medical team, Customer Excellence, Market Access, External Affairs...) in order to track and elaborate their budget.

• Supports Accounting Shared Service monthly close and financial reporting processes by reviewing results for completeness and providing variance commentary, which may include P&L, headcount and balance sheet components.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance and 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance dealing with transformation of large number of data. Formation in Data science is a plus.

Proficient Power BI skills required, being autonomous in adjusting existing dashboards, or developing new ones.

Knowledge in data governance.

Proficient Excel skills required, experience with SAP / BPC preferred.

Strong communication skills and customer support.

Professional Level of English (verbal and written)
