Job Description:

In this position, you will be responsible for On-site Engineering support working closely with the United States Government customer at an operations facility to provide site test, maintainability, reliability, and safety engineering in accordance with program cost, schedule, and technical requirements. The selected candidate will help coordinate all Raytheon requirements at the Letterkenny Army Depot (Chambersburg, PA) and assist with Raytheon on-site management in maintaining availability for all test equipment.

Tasking include, but are not limited to:

  • Analysis of system test and logistics data from the maintenance facilities, generation and execution of procurement.

  • Export/Import compliance, and government tracking documentation to meet program test and logistics requirements, Warehouse management, and spares management for applicable maintenance facility customers.

  • Given only general direction, you will be expected to determine and develop solutions covering a wide range of subjects including: Test Engineering, Logistics Management, Integrated Supply Chain, Export/Import compliance, Government Furnished Material (GFM) management, and depot support.

The daily work location for this position is in Chambersburg, PA.

Required Skills:

  • Six (6) years' experience in an on-site hardware logistics/ depot support role at a customer facility.

  • Experience Testing Electronic assemblies

  • Experience Managing Government Furnished Material (GFM) Inventory

  • A current and active Confidential Security Clearance is required.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Packaging and Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Requirements.

  • Ability to manage multiple technical projects and customer requests in a fast paced operations environment

  • Understanding and wide application experience including system assembly, disassembly and test

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Experience and knowledge in management of Hazardous materials

  • Experience with electrical safety requirements including Lockout/Tagout.

  • Experience managing material utilizing the Process Re-invention Integrating Systems for Manufacturing (PRISM) System.

Required Education (including Major):

  • BS/BA in Engineering or any STEM major.

  • Eight (8+) years of relevant field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. (Two years related work experience can substitute for one year of College)

Develops Quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and Post Production products. Conducts calibrations, receiving, in-process, solder, assembly, final and shipping inspections of repaired hardware at the M-TADS / PNVS Special Repair Activity. Maintains calibration tracking and completions for tooling within the depot operations.
