Field Clinical Representative- (Rhythm Management) All Levels

About the role:

Promotes commercially-approved company products through education of current and potential customers, implant and patient clinic coverage within a defined region by providing clinical education, sales strategy and support in order to assist in achieving projected sales goals and increasing sales revenues within product segments. May also support day-to-day field execution and management of Boston Scientific clinical trials at selected clinical trial centers centers in accordance with all applicable SOPs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of surgical coverage, basic troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products.

  • Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms.

  • Attends unit implants in the labs and operating room of hospital accounts and performs patient follow-up to assure customer and patient success with the implanted products.

  • Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.g. through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) and to identifies key decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.

  • Trains on and maintains knowledge of clinical trial protocols, CRM Clinical Department standard operating procedures, and compliance toward the regulations of world-wide regulatory bodies to meet corporate and departmental objectives.

  • Manages clinical trial activity within his/her assigned territory which includes but is not limited to completing Interest Visits and Site Initiation Visits.

  • Educates clinical investigators on clinical trial protocols, clinical process, and investigational products and features.

  • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.

  • Follows company and divisional guidelines for managing commercial inventory and, if applicable, investigational product inventory.

  • On-call duties may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

Field Clinical Representative I

What we're looking for in you:

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years work experience with Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Science, Math, Business, Nursing preferred and/or equivalent technical work experience.

  • The ability to understand, communicate and train others in the use and understanding of complex medical device software algorithms as it pertains to device therapy and diverse disease states.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the medical community including patients.

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a highly-motivated team where flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment are paramount and urgency often dictates a dynamic work schedule.

  • Ability to take rotational 24/7 call with a sales team involving holidays, weekends.

  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively where daily schedule varies by hours worked and tasks managed while remaining accountable to company, region and team goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, device clinic and/or Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab.

  • Medical device sales, sales support, clinical education and/or clinical research experience.

Field Clinical Representative II

  • 0-2 years work experience with Bachelor's degree in Science, Math, Business, Nursing is preferred and/or equivalent technical work experience

  • Minimum 2 years of technical work experience and/or MBA Strong technical aptitude; the ability to understand, communicate and train others in use of complex medical software algorithms as it pertains to device therapy and diverse disease states.

  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the medical community including patients.

  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, adaptable and work in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment where urgency dictates work schedule.

  • Ability to take rotational 24/7 call with a sales team involving holidays, weekends.

  • Ability to work independently where daily schedule varies by hours worked and tasks managed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

  • Medical device sales, clinical education and/or clinical research experience

Principal Field Clinical Representative

What we're looking for in you:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science, math, engineering, business, nursing or related technical field and 5+ years in a Boston Scientific clinical position with a completed/passed IBHRE certification that is active (external equivalent is 6+ years competitive CRM clinical work experience with a completed/passed IBHRE certification that is active) OR Minimum 10 years cardiac related clinical work experience with completed/passed NASPE/IBHRE certification

  • Customer service orientation demonstrated with work experience involving the ability to multi-task while serving a wide range of urgent customer needs.

  • Technical aptitude; the ability to understand, communicate and train others in use of complex medical software algorithms as it pertains to device therapy and diverse disease states.

  • Clinical orientation to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the medical community including patients.

  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, adaptable and work in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment where urgency dictates work schedule.

  • Ability to take rotational 24/7 call with a sales team involving holidays, weekends.

  • Ability to work independently where daily schedule varies by hours worked and tasks managed.

Join our acclaimed Pediatric Primary Care Offices Adolescent Substance Abuse Program (PPOC- ASAP) and discover how your talents can change lives. Yours included. The PPOC-ASAP Social Worker will be an embedded, fully integrated, ASAP-affiliated clinician delivering direct services in pediatric primary care offices and participating in office-based collaborative team rounds and multi-disciplinary care. They will report directly to the Director of Integrated Substance Use Treatment Services. This PPOC ASAP Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for: * Delivering 15 hours of direct patient care per week in the pediatric office setting, with the remaining 5 hours as needed. * Performing comprehensive evaluations to assess severity of substance use problems and disorders, psychosocial and mental health needs. * Providing individual therapy to patients of the pediatric practice. * Providing case coordination for identified patients within the pediatric practice in consultation with the Director of Integrated Substance Use Treatment Services and the ASAP clinical team. * Serving as a member of a medical home team to plan and implement patient care, assist in program development and participate in continuous quality improvement efforts as it relates to the integration of substance use treatment services into the medical home under the direction and approval of the Director of Integrated Substance Use Treatment Services, ASAP, the PPOC and practice leadership. * Facilitating communication between patient and family; education of family about substance use and substance use disorders, appropriate levels of care and treatment options. * Providing consultation to medical home team members on psychosocial and substance use issues and specific patient needs; conducts related staff and/or community education programs as assigned. * Participating in departmental meetings, committees, work groups as assigned. To qualify, you must have: * A Master's degree in Social Work with a license for independent clinical practice (LICSW) in Massachusetts. * Strong clinical skills and experience with various therapeutic modalities. * Experience working with substance use disorder identification and treatment is highly preferred. * Flexibility and adaptability required to work in a busy medical practice. This position will be based in Northampton, MA in a pediatric office setting.
