Raytheon Global Business Services (GBS) Facilities Team has an opening for a Sr. Facilities Engineer.

THIS IS A LIAISON ROLE WORKING WITH THE CUSTOMER AND REPORTING UP TO A PROJECT MANAGER.

MID-LEVEL ROLE REQUIRING 4+ years experience.

Perfect for a college grade with four years of professional experience in Facilities.

Responsible for the interface with the customers and leadership to ensure customer support through the Facilities process. Support Facilities Leadership initiatives and customer interface as required.

Responsible for enabling project's front-end-of-the-business activities stipulated in Stage 1 and 2 of PM Common Process Guideline. During this period, acts as the liaison between customers and Facilities project team until the project is seamlessly transitioned. For the remaining of the project duration, Stage 3 through 5, assists the Project Manager by facilitating effective communication to customers, helps project recovering and preventing from derailment.

Job Description:

Front-end liaison between Customers, Facilities function teams and LeadershipLeading meetings; discussing facilities content with customers

May be the primary Point Of Contact and build long-term relationships with CustomersEngage Customer beginning with initial request and ability to develop preliminary SOW for the IPTL teams

Demonstrate Facilities IPTL engagement with customer by having ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Ability to work with IPTL teams to develop ROM cost

Understanding customers' requirements and assists to develop project cost opportunities

Generate a Work Order, Security Screening Form and Programming Information Form (PIF) start-up documentation

Respond to customer issues and respond to customer in a timely manner

Ensures customer provides all project supporting documents to meet schedule

Participate in PM construction status meeting as required

Required Skills:

Minimum of 4+ year's direct experience in Facility leadership, operations, communication and problem solving Demonstrated Facilities experience

  • Experience developing facility requirements and executing cost and schedule estimates in conjunction with sub contract partners and suppliers

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

  • Strong ability to communicate with Leadership, Suppliers, General Contractors, and internal customers

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs

  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

  • Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to work in high paced environment while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude and behavior

  • Documented experience with large infrastructure projects

  • Experience with local, state and federal regulatory requirements and permitting

  • Familiar with aerospace security and environmental health and safety process and procedures

  • Detailed understanding of Microsoft Office Programs (Power Point, Excel, Project and Word)

  • Experience with government secured facilities

  • Experience with budget planning, forecasting, scheduling, and execution

  • Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Architecture or related discipline
