At Sunrise, our Senior Executive Director (Sr. ED) is responsible for all aspects of the business for the community to which they are assigned.RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:
- Financial management- Team member relations- Retention and development- Resident well-being- Quality assurance- Family services- Regulatory compliance - Ownership of the Sales & Marketing process to ensure maximization of revenue and our market position- Travel to the various communities to support the regional operational needs- Build strategic working relationships quickly to guide the community, provide leadership, support and stabilize, then successfully transition and adapt for the next community leadership assignment- Create, in alignment with our mission and values, a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members

Qualifications:
- College degree preferred; degree and management experience may be required per state / provincial requirements for the locations being supported- Administrator's License/certification may be required per state/provincial requirements for the locations being supported- Prior General Manager/Administrator experience focused on growing both top and bottom lines; required length determined by type of community- Demonstration of success in managing operating expenses- Adaptable to a variety of community environments- Previous sales experience preferred- Previous management experience including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision & discipline- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively- Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations- Proficient in organizational, time management skills- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills- Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Office & Sunrise applications with the ability to learn new applications- As applicable, all Sunrise team members who drive a Sunrise vehicle must review & sign the Driver job description, understand the key essential duties for safety- Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available for our customers at peak service delivery days and times

Responsibilities: The Voluntary Sales Manager is a highly visible Sales & Distribution position with a significant role in driving future growth in the Voluntary benefits marketplace. Reporting to the Voluntary Sales Director, this position will be field-focused, working in tandem with field sales and relationship management teams to generate profitable growth and revenue in Voluntary Segment, while enhancing the experience of producers and customers from a Voluntary perspective. Additionally, this role will partner closely with Voluntary Benefits Group and other Home Office partners in future product/capability design, process improvements, and strategic initiatives in support of Voluntary Segment. Key Accountabilities: * Partner with the Voluntary Sales Director and local field management to execute territory operating plan designed to drive profitable growth and strengthen The Hartford's brand as a leader in Voluntary Benefits. * Working with the Voluntary Sales Director, develop and implement innovative sales strategies that will differentiate Voluntary Benefits products and services in the market. * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with field sales and relationship management staff in assigned regions; Partner closely with assigned field leadership to drive sales and relationship management execution, training, and pipeline management (both new and in-force). * Be a meaningful marketplace presence within assigned regions to help grow existing producer partnerships and cultivate new relationships. * Lead efforts within assigned regions to increase field expertise and competency with an intense focus on training, knowledge transfer, best practice sharing, and strong partnership and coordination with Sales Excellence partners. * Be consultative within assigned regions at the case level on large/complex opportunities, including RFP assessment, producer/employer discussions, enrollment/education strategy, finalist support, etc. * Partner closely with Voluntary Benefits Group and other Home Office partners in future product/capability design, process improvements, and general strategy work. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience strongly preferred * 5 years of prior sales or service experience with specific emphasis and successful track record in Voluntary sales, product development, or account management. * In-depth knowledge of voluntary specific products, enrollment and billing requirements – including a keen understanding of the competitive landscape. * Strong organizational and communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation. * Able to manage and develop a cohesive team; Act as a role model; Able to coach others to higher levels of performance; Holds others accountable & manages performance * Strong organizational and communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation. * Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills; Able to work successfully across the field and home office cross-functional areas to influence outcomes and drive results * Strong business and financial acumen * Believes that The Hartford is a great place to work, knows how to inspire, motivate, and create a positive team environment. * Role may require 30-40% regional travel Behaviors at the Hartford * Deliver Outcomes – Demonstrate a bias for speed and execution that serves our shareholders and customers. * Operate as a Team Player – Work together to drive solutions for the good of The Hartford. * Build Strong Partnerships – Demonstrate integrity and build trust with others. * Strive for Excellence – Motivate yourself and others to achieve high standards and continuously improve.
