The Opportunity

The Sr. Events Partner role reports to the Sr. Manager, Corporate Events in the QRG External Communications Department. The position supports the Sr. Manager in the centralized events team to provide innovative design and unique experiences which elevate and showcase the Qurate Retail Brand

• This position hybrid and based in West Chester, PA.

Your Impact

• Plan and complete in-person and virtual events.

• Conceptualize theme ideas, planning and managing budgets, booking venues, collaborating with suppliers and clients, managing logistics, managing on-call staff, and presenting post-event reports.

• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.

• Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.

• Coordinate all logistical aspects of the event, including catering, furniture rentals, transportation, accommodations, and audio-visual rentals.

• Track expenses and maintain accurate financial records throughout the planning process.

• Make recommendations to Senior Manager or directly with internal client on event planning and management.

• Be a partner, managing SOWs with procurement partner and solving internal clients on meetings and events.

• Use industry-specific-knowledge or experience to develop solutions for virtual or in-person events.

• Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of the event, ensuring smooth operations throughout.

• Support Executive events, Merchandising and Vendor Relations, Live Team Member Engagement, Virtual Team Member Engagement, Public Relations and Customer Events.

What You Bring

• The ability to maintain a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and traveling for several consecutive days. Position is hybrid and will require working in-person Studio Park, West Chester Pa based on event schedule.

• 5+ years experience sourcing and contract vendors, including caterers, decorators, entertainers, and technical support staff.

• 5+ years' experience providing financial support for meetings & events to include management of Coupa, SOW's, Procurement, Privacy (PiQ), Data Protection & Data Security.

• 5+ years experience planning corporate events.

5+ years managing clients' budgets and Identify ways for cost savings. ·

• 5+ years support managing and directing corporate events (in-person and virtual events).

• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
