Base Salary: $127,000-166,000

WHO WE ARE

The X event function of the marketing team wears many hats; including but not limited to, project manager, producer, strategist, storyteller and marketer focused on creating seamless and innovative experiences that bring the X brand to life. As our team and scope grows, we are looking for a strong experiential marketing manager who approaches every event with a creative mindset, attention to detail and a can-do attitude. This role will work cross-functionally with various internal organizations to meet overarching business objectives. This role is crucial in leading X events and experiences to thrive and drive impact across Americas and our tentpole experiences internationally. You must have integrity and be willing to roll up your sleeves for anything and everything. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously is a MUST.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Sr. Event Marketing Manager will support the Head of Business Marketing with leading events, sponsorships, and specific event-related executive experiences as needed. This person will be a critical team member managing event operations needs from c-level client engagements to country specific activations. Travel will be expected.

  • Support event experiences in North America including budgeting, planning, and prioritizing based on ROI and business experiences (with input from lead).

  • Own and execute events from concept to execution, ensuring our brand strategy comes to life through in person experiences.

  • Support event logistics including invite/RSVP process, hotel room blocks, event pages, reservations, swag etc. (until a team can be hired).

  • Route tracking of vendor contracts and payment invoices

  • Manage team inventory including the packing/shipping/tracking of event materials pre and post onsite events

  • Assist in timeline calendaring for events - briefs, speaker rehearsals, presentations, etc.

  • Organize and manage our internal vendor/resource database

  • Support the team in daily business operations and procedures

  • Be an active and contributing member in our team's creative think tank through timeline insights, industry research, brand trends, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10 years of related experience and/or event industry experience

  • Understanding of Google Suite for Business including use of Google Drive (documents, spreadsheets, etc.)

  • Mac and Keynote proficient; Microsoft Office suite as well

  • Illustrator and Photoshop desired but not required
