Job Description:

Responsible for selling full product mix of Anterior/Posterior/Refractive products to include: Capital Equipment, Disposables, Accessories, and Stand Alone products for which quota is assigned. Products are to be sold to all subspecialties which products apply to.

Customers called on include, Ophthalmologists, Surgical Assistants, Practice Managers, Hospital/ASC/Teaching Institutions/Managed Care/Buying Groups personnel (to include, O.R. staff, Purchasing, Administration, Biomed, Infection Control, Central Sterile and other departments who have decision making authority on the purchase and use of Alcon products). Objectives include Achieving assigned sales quota; managing expenses within prescribed guidelines; implements Marketing Plans as directed; maintains demo equipment/accessories, IOL consignments; maintaining territory records via the laptop Customer Profile System; and implements corporate contracts.

Drive customer project delivery across private and public cloud, while primarily leading large software implementations. Work closely with Professional Services, other stakeholders, and functional owners as needed to ensure well-defined business cases, strategies, and project plans. Communicate status and issues to senior management and stakeholders. Lead, manage and motivate cross-functional project teams by prioritizing and coordinating all aspects of project execution to ensure efficiency and effectiveness while meeting deadlines. Build trusted relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders from senior executive to support desk. Leveraging these relationships effectively to validate assumptions, acquire useful information, negotiate among competing objectives, resolve issues, manage change, agree to direction and achieve consensus. Monitor overall progress and use of resources on projects, and initiate corrective action where necessary. What We’re Seeking Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and or equivalent experience. Experience leading software customer implementations in a large, complex information systems environment. Experience in program or project management with history of increasing responsibility. PMP Project Management certification preferred. Project experience with environments containing cardholder data, data privacy, and personally identifiable information (PII) Self-directed with independent work delivery. Escalates appropriately and keeps stakeholders informed. Direct experience with waterfall and agile project management processes and methodologies. Experience with end-to-end software development project lifecycle (requirements, development, testing, implementation, warranty). Excellent interpersonal skills - strong verbal and written skills; ability to engage with senior business and technology leaders and own problems and to find solutions. Experience across the entire technology stack including server, database, network, and storage is ideal.
