Overview

This senior technical role within JDA's Professional Services team will have a focus on the Retail Products with experience in one or more of the following JDA products: Enterprise Planning, Allocation, Assortment Planning, Channel Clustering, Size Scaling, Category Management, Demand, Fulfillment. The Sr. Enterprise Technical Architect participates in all aspects of the technical deliverables within a program/project to architect software solutions that meet the customer's business requirements and generate maximum value for customers. They may work on multiple programs/projects simultaneously within one or more industry verticals, and/or may work on multiple applications. The Sr. Enterprise Technical Architect provides direction to the on-site team on the technical design and definition and execution of related business process workflows that accompany the solution. This is a virtual role with at least 75% travel required.

Responsibilities

Sr Enterprise Technical Architect will lead all aspects of technical delivery for large transformational projects/programs in Retail. The responsibilities would include (but not limited to) the following

  • Conducts/leads technical analysis or design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project.

  • Responsible for defining integration strategies involving multiple solutions and one or more of the major Host/ERP Systems (eg., SAP, Oracle, MMS, PMM).

  • Clearly articulate all integration touch points and data flows for all the JDA solutions involved.

  • Manage program level issues and escalations and communicate those effectively to each level of the organization as appropriate (executive level summaries, team member reports, etc.).

  • Incorporate new technology, methods and allow clients to extend and get the most from their JDA solutions.

  • Consistently adopts and evangelizes JDA implementation best practices.

  • Will mentor and guide the work of next level architects and pass along knowledge to other JDA associates.

Qualifications

  • 75% travel required

  • At least 15 years of experience implementing Retail Solutions, with at least 10 years as technical lead for JDA Retail Planning Solutions (PMM, Allocation, EP, CC, SS, AP, Category Management, Store Operations)

  • Must have led implementations as an Enterprise Technical Architect on projects involving multiple solutions (no fewer than three) within the JDA Retail Planning solution suite

  • Must have led implementations as a Technical Architect on 2 or more products in the JDA Retail Planning Solution Suite

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively build relationships with stakeholders, both inside and outside of JDA, to facilitate issue resolution internally, engrain JDA as the key technical advisor with customers and build confidence in JDA's ability to deliver consistently.

  • Knowledge of JDA Solutions in other domains (Manufacturing Planning, Intelligent Fulfillment) is a plus

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and tools (e.g. Mulesoft) is a plus
