Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) is seeking a senior Enterprise Office 365 SharePoint Service support staff member that will work to maintain, support, and enhance the highly complex MNIT Enterprise Office 365 SharePoint Service and related product set that enables day-to-day work activities for over 40,000 Executive Branch employees. Primary areas of focus are consistent service delivery, quality customer service, effective incident management, efficient issue resolution, and positive vendor engagement outcomes. Due to the complex nature of the Office 365 product set and its integration with business processes that support mission critical activities of Executive Branch agencies, this position requires senior-level troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Test, troubleshoot, and resolve Enterprise Office 365 SharePoint Service, Site Collection, and Site related issues

  • Act as a mentor and point of escalation for all agency based MNIT or business SharePoint administrators and developers across the Executive Branch Enterprise for advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution

  • Represent the Enterprise Office 365 SharePoint Service when engaging with Microsoft Premier Support and other 3rd party vendor support groups

  • Monitor Enterprise MNIT ticketing system and personal work queue, managing tickets according to defined processes

  • Communicate with colleagues, supervisory, and management throughout the issue resolution process

  • Prepare training and operational process materials, and deliver presentations related to Enterprise Office 365 SharePoint Service

  • Advanced configuration, low/no-code development, and PowerShell scripting in O365

  • Participate as a senior resource in Enterprise Office 365 SharePoint Service maintenance, feature rollouts, and related projects

Qualifications



Minimum Qualifications:


Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume:

Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of IT experience supporting SharePoint O365, 2016, and/or 2013 environments that includes:

Experience in the day-to-day operational support of site collections, sites, workflows, custom forms, content types, permissions, features, and low/no code applications

Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2013

Experience troubleshooting SharePoint 2013 workflows, SharePoint 2010 workflows

*A Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field substitutes for three years of experience, OR related Bachelor's degree substitutes for two years, OR related Associate's degree substitutes for one year.

Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and a criminal history verification

Preferred Qualifications:


Working knowledge of integration points among O365 SharePoint, Active Directory

Experience using and supporting OneDrive for Business; OneNote; and InfoPath 2013

Experience using Sharegate for SharePoint administration and migration tasks

Experience creating and running PowerShell scripts

Experience with advanced Microsoft Excel functions, formulas, charts, and pivot tables

Strong technical writing, documentation, and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of O365 for Government tenant and/or O365 Commercial tenant administration

Experience creating and improving operational processes

Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, quickly becoming knowledgeable and able to support new O365 features

Ability to provide leadership in times of crisis assuring good communication and coordination among disparate, geographically disperse clientele

Ability to plan work and set goals, monitor, measure, and evaluate accomplishments

Experience working in organizations with formal IT change management practices
