And integration with Adobe Experience Cloud means experiences reach audiences faster and with greater impact. We are hiring a Sr. Engineering Program Manager to join our team! This role will be working as Engineering Program Manager in Enterprise Technology Lab (ETL) organization in Creative Cloud Enterprise business unit. You will drive and track business critical initiatives and product releases working closely with core engineering and other functions.

The Role

  • Develop and manage detailed plans and schedules that takes into account all requirements, constraints, resources, and deliverables associated with the defined objectives.

  • Deeply understand and assess critical paths and dependencies for launching products, and drive and facilitate discussions between multiple functional teams.

  • Ensure all aspects of an initiative/program, from initial concept planning and requirements review, through scheduling and logistics, through the final hand-offs post go-live are identified, tracked, and executed to their greatest potential.

  • Build and track all aspects of a program, engineering scrum and is the general "go to" person for details & status of the project.

  • Participate with management teams in building materials and models used for quarterly and annual recasting of initiatives and priorities.

  • Creating material(s) that can be consumed at different levels of the organization from executive-level presentations, to finite-level materials to be consumed by engineering/program teams.

  • Manage risk: Identify, analyze, respond, monitor, and control risks. Actively identifies risks in all assigned areas; work with teams and management to mitigate these risks before they become issues.

What is needed for success

  • B.S. or M.S. degree. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering stream is preferred.

  • 8+ years of progressive project/program management experience on large scale engineering initiatives.

  • Background in software product development, business process management and PMO best practices is a strong plus.

  • Extremely organized with outstanding attention to detail; understands the what, why, when, how and who to drive better solutions.

  • Deep understanding of a software lifecycle and phase, incl. legal/security/compliance aspects.

  • Proficiency in Scrum and Agile practices, Jira and Confluence are core requirements.

  • Highly savvy in setting expectation and managing risks/issues across diverse teams. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without having a formal authority.

  • Self-motivated and not afraid to tackle unknowns or solve problems lacking a clear path to resolution, demonstrates a strong bias to proactive action and resolution, and ability to creatively and relentlessly explore all options

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. Must know their audience and be comfortable presenting to everyone from C-level to the Individual Contributor assigned to the project/program; must be able to influence and have data-driven conversations.
