We are looking for highlymotivated engineering professionals. You will have the opportunity to design,develop and support innovative solutions across a variety of applications,platforms and environments, building tomorrow's technologies in the TargetProperties product space supporting team members and other professionals inboth Headquarters and external construction and vendor community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software and systems ontest driven development and continuous integration practices, unit testing andcreating automated test scripts.

  • Understandingof data models with sources from different data systems including relational databases.

  • Collaborate with other engineers and partnersto ensure development meets business needs.

  • Follow industry standard agilesoftware design methodology for development and technical documentation.

  • Driveevaluation and learn new tools and technologies to keep technology stack modernas needed for the Product solution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software development experience with at least one fullcycle implementation from requirement to production

  • Proficiency in Java

  • Strong problem solving and thought partnership skills

  • Team attitude

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree inComputer Science or equivalent

  • Strong sense of ownership andaccountability, and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements.

  • Experience developing high performingweb-based applications using Java and other web development frameworks (Angular 2 or newer, Ionic, NodeJS, React).

  • Experience developing RESTful servicesusing the Spring Boot framework

  • Experience in relational databases includingdata modeling and development of tables (preferably PostgreSQL)

  • Experienceworking in an agile environment (i.e. writing user stories, iterativedevelopment, etc.)

  • Workingknowledge of test-driven development and software test automation.

A Day in the Life Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. * May partner with Sourcing to represent Supply Management on Due Diligence activities for potential acquisitions. * May represent Supplier Quality to highlight any risks and mitigating actions associated with acquisition. * Develop, coordinate and conduct integration activities in partnership with Supply Management * Support the acquisition target with developing Supply Management processes and procedures that align with Medtronic requirements. * Communication and partnership with business development and cross functional teams to ensure efficient integration execution. * Support development of a standardized and consistent Supply Management acquisition and integration process * Ensures that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services. * Qualifies suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection to ensure cost effectiveness. * Monitors parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicates and resolves supplier-related problems as they occur. * Develops and prioritizes an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited on a regular basis to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) and quality standards are met. * Evaluates suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation.
