As a DRAM Process Integration Simulation / CSPEC Engineer in F4 you will be responsible for simulations related to process margin checks based on CSPEC targets, coordinating regular structural measurements through the various modules to verify compliance to CSPEC and using DOE's on silicon to verify simulations and CSPEC definition.

  • Simulations for process margin checks (knowledge of SPX / Silvaco tools)

  • Coordinate structural verification of CSPEC targets and set up processes for regular line monitoring with appropriate charts / controls.

  • Manage silicon to run some DOE to fit simulation and C-spec definition.

  • Regular meetings with PI Module owners to understand deviations from target and make appropriate adjustments or define actions to resolve any issues.

  • Regular reporting of observations to the wider team highlighting key issues and actions in place.

  • Responsible for tracking / reporting metrics related CSPEC in IMI.

  • Interface with the corresponding Fab Transfer Team to ensure that CSPEC information and related data in F4 is readily available and assist with matching setup at the receiving Fab to ensure consistency in measurement, data collection and reporting.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B. S. or M.S. (Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or Material Science) with 3 years industry experience.

  • Basic knowledge of semiconductor device Physics.

Preferred Experience:

  • 3 years industry experience in process integration or a role that interacts with process integration and has a strong understanding of process integration requirements

  • 2 years experience DRAM manufacturing fab and/or DRAM transfer team experience with a good understanding of the DRAM process flow.

  • Device Physics, Electronics or Electrical Engineering background highly preferred

As a Product Engineer at Micron, you will be part of a forward-thinking team of engineers that solves complex problems, responsible for enabling Micron's products with flawless and issue free release to both internal and external customers. Product Engineers are the key interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance departments. What You Will be Doing In this role, you will own the Characterization Flows with the goal to enable CXL DRAM to meet customer performance requirements. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include You will define, develop and maintain the characterization flows for each CXL DRAM product. Using this flow you will provide input to various teams to improve and optimize the products performance to meet specific customer requirements for current and future products. Education & Experience Necessary for Success * BSEE or related field * 5+ years related experience * Strong Software background, including C/C++ and perl/python * Effective written and spoken communication skills * Good multitasking and organizational skills * Able to make decisions in complex situations * Experience with SM3 or Advantest Tester Platforms is a plus * DRAM and CXL architecture, operation, and specification knowledge is a plus * Self-motivation and enthusiasm About Micron Technology, Inc.
