About the Job

People are the fabric of our success, and as such, Tailored Brands is seeking an organized, empathetic and service-oriented Senior Employee Communications Manager who will develop, implement and support communication plans designed to drive engagement in support of our People and Culture strategies.

In this role, you will also collaborate with cross-functional leaders and subject-matter experts to co-create modern, creative communication solutions that deliver results for their programs and initiatives while aligning with our best practices, style, brand and tone.

What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute communication campaigns

  • Provide guidance and editorial insight to functional leaders

  • Co-create and facilitate the communications strategy and delivery of annual People and Culture programs and initiatives, including benefits enrollment, annual employee surveys, performance management and total rewards programs

  • Co-create diversity, equity and inclusion content in partnership with our employee resource groups

  • Support the communication strategy and delivery of policies and procedures, employee handbooks, and other employee documents and guidance

  • Design, edit and oversee the distribution of communication materials

  • Maintain the Company's high content standards

  • Special projects as assigned

What You'll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, English, Creative Writing or related field and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience

  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 business tools including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, One Drive and SharePoint

  • Experience using Smartsheet or similar project planning tools

  • Experience using email delivery solutions

  • An interest in storytelling and the development of a story, including doing research, writing, editing and soliciting feedback

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • A meticulous approach to work and an eye for detail

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong time management skills are essential

  • Ability to create a full communication plan end-to-end

  • Ability to step into the readers' point of view

  • A servant-leader mindset

  • Ability to create and foster productive business partnerships

  • Ability to embrace change and support our teams as they navigate new situations

  • Experience working with and managing content delivery via various technology channels

  • A deep understanding of human resources, compensation, benefits and policy and procedure practices

  • An understanding of business operations and measurements

  • Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily

  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally

  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment

  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote office location.

The starting salary for this position is $80,700-123,700 and may increase to $134,500 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
