Sr Electrical Engineer PE

Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer PE to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. You will utilize your expertise in electrical engineering principles to design and analyze electrical systems for various projects, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems. Additionally, you will mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with other design professionals to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
• Design and analyze electrical systems for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards
• Perform electrical load calculations and voltage drop calculations
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and reports
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other design disciplines to integrate electrical systems
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in building systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards
• Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and project teams
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
